Start with the work around the relationship
A relationship manager may need to search correspondence, review earlier meeting notes, check outstanding requests and assemble portfolio information before speaking with a client. After the meeting, decisions and actions need to reach the people responsible.
Halyard assesses that recurring preparation and coordination with leadership and operating staff. The starting question is which part consumes useful capacity or makes the client experience harder, and whether AI can improve it with a manageable review burden.
Prepare meetings from approved records
A bounded assistant could assemble a briefing from permitted correspondence, current client records and approved reporting outputs. The briefing should identify sources and dates, separate confirmed facts from open questions and allow the relationship manager to inspect the underlying material.
Test revised documents, stale records and conflicting details. A summary that sounds confident while omitting a material change is not ready for client use. This is a potential application to assess, not a claim that every information system can support it today.
Help onboarding fit how clients actually provide information
Clients may explain their circumstances in conversation and supply documents over several days. Banks, custodians and other providers can introduce further requirements later. A process dependent on a perfect initial form can create avoidable follow-up.
AI may help organize permitted documents, propose record updates or prepare a focused request for missing information. Staff confirm accuracy and keep the distinction between received, reviewed and accepted visible. Signatures, suitability reviews and acceptance decisions remain with authorized people.
Carry meeting actions through to completion
With appropriate permission and handling arrangements, meeting material can support draft notes, action lists and client follow-ups. Each action needs an owner, relevant context and a review boundary before it reaches the client or changes a record.
The test should examine missed actions, incorrect attribution, sensitive details and ambiguous commitments. Faster note preparation has limited value if the team spends the saved time correcting the output or reconstructing who agreed to do what.
Keep commentary and professional advice separate
Approved portfolio outputs and research can help staff prepare draft commentary or retrieve internal guidance. Authoritative financial values should be preserved, sources made visible and material assertions reviewed.
This service focuses on supporting work around client relationships. It does not grant an assistant authority to recommend investments, approve suitability, execute transactions or make discretionary decisions. Any proposed use affecting those activities requires a separate assessment of the firm's responsibilities and approval requirements.
A proportionate first implementation
Choose one recurring task, one participating team and a clear owner. Establish the current preparation and review effort, the permitted information and the result staff must be able to verify.
We assess the existing CRM, document and portfolio environment before recommending another platform. The first phase should give leadership a defined deliverable, realistic staff commitment, acceptance evidence and a clear view of ongoing support.
